When you submit an application through this website, we collect the information you provide: your first and last name, email address, telephone number, and the professional profile you select. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we receive the contact details and the content you choose to share. Our hosting infrastructure may also log technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and performance purposes.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the application form. You may withdraw that consent at any time using the contact details above. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
Applications submitted through this website are processed by Formspree, a service provider located in the United States, which transmits your submission to us by email. Our email and scheduling providers are also located outside Panama. This means your personal information is transferred to, and stored in, jurisdictions outside the Republic of Panama, whose data protection laws may differ from Panamanian law. By submitting the form you consent to that transfer. We select providers that apply recognised contractual and technical safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest.
Messages sent by WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, and are processed on its infrastructure rather than ours.
If you become a client, relevant information is shared with the independent licensed professionals coordinated on your behalf, such as attorneys, accountants, or banks, only as far as needed for your engagement and with your knowledge. We do not sell applicant or member information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. All applications are treated with full discretion.
We keep your information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and for any period we are legally required to retain records. You may request deletion at any time by writing to info@panamaprivateclub.com.
Under Law 81 of 2019 you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@panamaprivateclub.com. We respond within thirty (30) days as required by law. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access limited to those who need it to serve your enquiry, and providers who maintain their own security controls. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
If a security incident affects your personal data in a way that creates a material risk to you, we will notify you and the competent authority without undue delay, as required by Law 81.
If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, you may contact us first at info@panamaprivateclub.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Panama's supervisory authority, the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (ANTAI).
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
